Ram Gymnastics Report
March 20, 2006 Hey there! Just wanted to write and update everyone with some news. We held our final regular season home meet on March 3rd against Yale and Temple and honored our seniors at the conclusion of it. It was an emotional but happy time as they looked back on their four years here. Erica and Ashley both underwent surgery to repair their knee and shoulder, respectively. Everything went as planned which was very good news. They are both back after spending time at home recovering and we wish them a speedy recovery! Chelle gave birth to an 8 pound baby boy named him Tateous. The entire team is very excited about the addition to her family, but she'll be missed in the gym for the next few weeks. Other exciting news is that Casey just got a good report from her doctors on the effectiveness of her treatments so far, so continue to keep her in your prayers! Speaking of Casey, the team has gotten bracelets made for her, similar to the yelvlow "Live Strong" bracelets, but these are Keaney Blue and say 'Be Strong CP', so if anyone is interesting in donating money for her and getting one, please stop by or contact the gymnastics office! The season is coming quickly to an end. We'll be hosting the ECAC Championships this weekend right here in Keaney Gymnasium. With nine teams, it's sure to be an exciting competition, so if you're in the area, please come out and watch! Go Rhody and keep on believin'...
