ITHACA, N.Y. - Rhode Island senior Kelly Gurney finished second in the all-around competition to lead the Rams to third place out of nine teams at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I Championships, hosted by Cornell.

Towson defended their 2006 title with a winning team score of 193.650, followed by Penn (191.325), Rhody (190.475) and the host Big Red (190.100). The Rams entered the meet ranked seventh in the field.

Gurney finished second on uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.775, while tying for third on floor exercise (9.700) and ending up fifth on vault (9.725). Her all-around total was 38.550.
