Rhode Island Announces 2009-10 Women's Basketball TV Schedule

KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island women's basketball team is one of just three Atlantic 10 programs scheduled to play three televised games in 2009-10. Temple and Richmond will also play a trio of TV games while five other schools - Charlotte, Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's and Xavier - are scheduled to have two broadcasted games each.
Two of the Rams home games will be aired on Cox Sports Television (ch. 3), including the Dec. 5 matchup with in-state rival Providence.
Rhode Island will also play a nationally-televised game, when CBS College Sports covers the Rams' Feb. 17 contest at Saint Joseph's.
CBS College Sports will also air the semifinal games of the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship while the title game will be shown on ESPN2.
