KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island women's basketball head coach Cathy Inglese has joined the world of social networking, enabling URI fans to get an inside look at the Rhody women's basketball program.

Current members of Twitter can get up-to-the minute updates by following Coach Inglese at www.twitter.com/cathyinglese. Non-members are free to view the page, but need to create an account to become an official follower.

Twitter is a service for businesses, organizations and individuals to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? A user's response to this question - also known as a "tweet" - is a brief text-based post of up to 140 characters. Twitter users receive these updates by "following" one another.
