Stephanie Coro joined the Rhode Island staff as the coordinator of basketball of operations in September of 2016.

Coro previously was the girl’s basketball varsity assistant coach and head junior varsity coach for St. Andrew’s School for the 2015-16 season. There she was in charge of scouting opponents, compiling footage for scouting and game preparation, guard skill development and maintenance of team equipment. She was also the college recruitment liaison for all the players.

Prior to that, Coro played professionally for CB Prat in El Prat, Spain during the 2014-15 season. She also acted as an administrative intern, serving as the college liaison for elite players in Spain who were seeking Division I scholarships in the United States. She also edited and produced highlight videos and game film for players to use for recruiting and scouting purposes. In addition, Coro played professional softball during her time in Spain, playing for Viladecans in the Spanish National League.

A 2013 graduate of Rhode Island College, Coro was a four-year letter winner. She ranks second in school history with 1,516 points. Her accolades during her time in college include Rookie of the Year her freshman year, four-time All Conference and All New England for the 2010-11 season.
