La-Force Names Raysor as Graduate Assistant

KINGSTON, R.I. — Rhode Island head coach Daynia La-Force announced the addition of Tyler Raysor to the Rhode Island coaching staff as a graduate assistant.

"Tyler will be a great asset to our program," La-Force said. "Her perspective as a former student-athlete who was a part of the formative years of our program will aid the staff in identifying our current players' needs. She has successfully shown a commitment to the program, and I am certain this same commitment will be applied to her role as a coach."

In her first season as part of the staff, Raysor will assist with on-campus recruiting and scouting responsibilities related to game preparation. Raysor will also oversee the team's community service efforts and organize the youth ball girls at each home game.

A team captain for Rhode Island during her playing career, Raysor appeared in 25 games during the 2016-17 season. She earned her bachlor's degree in three years in Human Development and Family Studies in 2017.
