On Thursday, July 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., there will be a mid-summer gathering of University of Rhode Island basketball supporters at the Coast Guard House Restaurant.

That night, head coach Jim Baron will be presented with a trophy to honor his 300th victory at the Division I level - a feat accomplished this past season on Nov. 28, 2007 at home versus Northeastern.

There will be a dinner buffet served, as well as a cash bar. Tickets for the event are $75 and will be available at the door at the Coast Guard House, located at 40 Ocean Road, in Narragansett.
