Rhode Island men's cross country finished 14th at the New England Championship on Saturday. The Rams earned 406 points. Massachusetts took the New England crown with 84 team points.
Joseph MaGuire was the top finisher for the Rams for the second time this season, placing 47th in 26:00. Connor Gralton (26:21) and Nathan Coogan (26:35) each had personal bests. Matthew Vinacco (26:42), Rock Fortna (27:05), Tim Slack (27:37), and Nick Celico (28:05) also represented for Rhody.
The Rams return to the course on Oct. 19 to compete at the Brown Invitational.
