KINGSTON, R.I. -- Michael Elliott was named to the 2009 Atlantic 10 Men's Track & Field Academic All-Conference team, it was announced by the league office today.

Elliott, a native of Lisbon, Conn., captured the high jump title at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship on May 2. The junior cleared a height of 6-8.25 to capture the conference crown. Elliott won the A-10 outdoor high jump title in each of the last three seasons.

Additionally, Elliott won the 2009 A-10 indoor high jump title.

He was also a member of the 2009 A-10 Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team and has compiled a 3.27 grade-point average while majoring in accounting.
