Kingston, R.I. - The Rams finished second with 152 points at the URI invitational with UConn finishing first with 226 points.

Colin Aina (East Providence, R.I) placed first in the long jump with a leap of 7.14 meters and won the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 7.38 seconds. Ashhad Agyapong clinched 1st place in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:05.07.

Eric Groce also placed first in two events with a time of 22.05 seconds in the 200 meter dash, and in the 55 dash with a time of 6.48 seconds.

Andre Reid won the shot put with a toss of 17.07m and also took fourth in the weight throw. Sean Bramley finished third for the Rams in the weight throw.

The Rams return to action on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Armory in New York where they will face Princeton, Rutgers, and Columbia.
