Was named the conference's Most Outstanding Field Performer after winning the triple jump, reaching 47 feet, 8 inches and taking third in the long jump with a leap of 22-6 ½ at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championship.

Helped Rhode Island win the 2001-2002 Atlantic 10 Championships in Track and Field in his sophomore year

During his freshman year, was the Atlantic 10 Indoor Champion in the triple jump with a leap of 47 feet 3 inches...Placed 3rd in the triple jump (47'10") and long jump (22'8") at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships...Also anchored the school record setting 4 X 100 meter relay squad at the Outdoor Championships...In his first collegiate meet, won the triple jump (46'6") at the Northeastern Husky Indoor Carnival... Earned three Rookie of the Week citations during his freshman campaign...Qualified for New Englands and the ICAAAA Championships in the triple jump and the 4 X 100...Named 2001-2002 Atlantic-10 Champions

Captained the track and field and the wrestling teams in 1999 and 2000...The NYS triple jump champion in 2000...Named team MVP in '99 and '00...Also played a wide receiver and cornerback on the football team...Helped lead team to the Class C title in 1999...Was the school's valedictorian in the finance academy.
