Men's Track and Field

2004-2005:
Indoors: Ran a time of 21.60 in the preliminaries of the 200 meter dash at ICAAAA's but could not compete in the finsals due to an injury...Placed third in the 55 meter dash and also took third in the 200 meter dash at the New England Championships... Finished second in the 200 meter dash at the Atlantic 10 Championships and finished eighth in the 55 meter dash.. Was a memeber of the 4x400 meter relay team that placed first at the A-10 Championships...Won the 200 meter dash in 22.41 and took third in the 55 meter dash at the Rhody Mega Meet...Finished secondin the 55 meter dash a the Reebok Boston Indoor Games...

2003-2004:
Outdoors:Placed 14th overall at the NCAA East Regional Track Championships...Placed 5th in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m at the IC4A Outdoor Championships...New England Champion in the 100m...Posted a 1st place sprint double in the 100m and 200m at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships and recorded a personal best of 10.46 in the 100m...Also anchor of the school record holding 4x100m relay (41.00)..Also bested the old 100m school record of 10.52 by running 10.46 at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championships
Indoors: Placed 3rd at the IC4A Indoor Track Championships in the 200m and posting a personal best of 21.21 in the process...Captured 1st place in the 200m at the New England Indoor Championships and also set the New England 200m record in a time of 21.32...Placed 1st in the 200m at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships....Also broke the 200m school record with a time of 21.32

2002-2003:
Outdoors: New England Champion in the 200m with a time of 21.53 and grabbed 3rd place in the 100 with a time of 10.74...Runner up in both the 100m and 200m at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships posting times of 10.60 and 21.23...Also captured Outdoor Rookie of the Year honors
Indoors: Grabbed two runner up finishes at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships in the 55m and the 200m

High School:
Captained the track and field team in 2002...Won 15 individual and 3 team titles...Was the 2002 Vermont State champion in the 100 meter dash as well as the state of Vermont's Most Valuable Player...Also started as a left forward on the soccer team for coach Abberheim...Named team captain for the 2002 season...Lead team to the state championship in 2002.

Personal:
Born Eric H. Groce Jr. 9/26/83 to Eric Sr. and Linda Groce...Favorite hobby is computers... most memorable experience was setting the state record in the 4x100 meter relay.
