Played varsity soccer as a forward for Coach Bob Sturbahl and was named captain of the team in 2002. Ran varsity track as a sprinter for Coach Soscia in 2001 and 2002. Served as team captian in 2001 and 2002. Made 3rd team All-State, 2nd and 3rd Team All-Division in 2001. Made 2nd team All-State, 1st team All-Division, 3rd team All- Class in 2002 Track and Field. Named the Southern Division MVP in 2002. Named Student Athlete in 2002. Earned National Honor Society and the Rhode Island Honors Society.

Personal:

Born on April 2, 1984 to Kayede and Nabode Akinsinde. Majoring in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Community Planning and Urban Development aspiring to build new cities all over the world. Interned with the Town of Coventry in the summer of 2003 and worked at Camp Westwood in the summer of 2002. Hobbies include soccer, football, meeting new people and traveling. Most memorable experience was traveling to 7 different countries and 3 different continents.
