Andrew Costin Named A-10 Tennis Co-Rookie Of The Week

KINGSTON, R.I.- Rhode Island freshman Andrew Costin (Amherst, Nova Scotia) was named A-10 Tennis Co-Rookie Of The Week after his performance last week. Costin went 3-1 at No. 2 singles play and No. 1 doubles. His wins came April 2, at Fordham (6-2, 6-1), March 29, vs. Sacred Heart (6-2, 6-1), and March 28, vs. Holy Cross (6-2, 6-0) He has also gone 4-0 in No. 1 doubles this past week along with teamate Kevin Redmond. Rhode Island is scheduled to take on Coast Guard in New London, Conn. at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4.
