Men's Tennis Falls to Duquesne, 4-1

Men's Tennis Championship Bracket PITTSBURGH - The eighth-seeded Rhode Island men's tennis team fell to No. 4 Duquesne, 4-1, at the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship, Saturday afternoon at Club 4 Life in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Rams' only win came from Henrik Almstrom at third singles.Rhody opened by dropping the doubles point as James McGuire and Adam Gart were defeated, 8-2, at No. 2 and Dixon Simmons and Nicholai Hill fell at No. 3 by a score of 8-2. In singles, Almstrom defeated Duquesne's Zach Skorupka, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (4), at No.3 while Jeff Cote (#2), Gart (#4) and AJ Nelson (#6) were taken down in straight sets. The Rams will now take on sixth-seeded Richmond for seventh place. Match time is set for Sunday at 8 a.m. SINGLES DOUBLES
