Men's Tennis Defeated by Top-Seeded George Washington

Men's Tennis Championship Bracket
PITTSBURGH - The eighth-seeded Rhode Island men's tennis team fell to No. 1 George Washington, 4-0, in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship, Friday afternoon at Club 4 Life in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Rhody opened by dropping the doubles point as Jared Dorfman and Jeff Cote were defeated, 8-4, at No. 1 and Dixon Simmons and Nicholai Hill fell at No. 2 by a score of 8-2.
In singles, Dorfman (#1), Adam Gart (#4), Andrew Costin (#5) and AJ Nelson (#6) were taken down in straight sets, as the Colonials secured the shutout victory.
With the loss, the Rams move to the consolation bracket, where they will face #4 Duquesne, Saturday at at 11 a.m.
