Men's Soccer Adds a Pair of International Student-Athletes to Incoming Class
March 30, 2009
KINGSTON, R.I. - University of Rhode Island men's soccer head coach John O'Connor has announced that two additional student-athletes have signed NCAA National Letters of Intent to join the Rams' program in the fall of 2009. Nick Joshi (Western Perth, Australia) and Thomas Lindroos (Espoo, Finland) will join the previous three signees who were announced back in February. "Having Nick and Thomas on board is the icing on the cake for our incoming class this fall," O'Connor said. "They both bring an extensive background and experience from environments where soccer is such an important part of the fabric of their culture. Like any of the international student-athletes who have been Rams - past, present or future - they will not only help enhance the culture of the team but contribute to the future success of the program."
