Men's Soccer To Hold Banquet And Alumni Game
March 30, 2007 KINGSTON, R.I. - This year's men's soccer banquet will be held on Saturday, April 28 at the Holiday Inn in South Kingstown, R.I. A reception with a cash bar begins at 4:00 p.m. with dinner and an awards ceremony to follow. The cost is $35 per person. The URI players are invited guests of "Friends of Men's Soccer" and the cost of your ticket will help defray the cost of the student-athletes. Those who make additional donations will be recognized in the banquet program. All alumni are encouraged to play in this year's Alumni Game that will precede the banquet on Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 at the URI Soccer Complex on the Kingston campus. A pre-game small-sided alumni vs. alumni warm-up will be played prior to the game vs. the current team. RSVPs are requested for both events by Wednesday, April 25 to Assistant Coach Gareth Elliot at gell4322@postoffice.uri.edu or (401) 874-2560.
