Crosby and Perdomo Selected for NEISL All-Star Game

March 24, 2009

KINGSTON, R.I. - University of Rhode Island men's soccer seniors Kedan Crosby (St. James, Trinidad) and Andres Perdomo (Pawtucket, R.I.) have been selected to participate in the 2009 New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star game. The game - which matches Division I players against D-II and D-III All-Stars - will be played on May 2, 2009 at Clark University in Worcester, Mass.

Crosby, a 2008 co-captain, finished the regular season second on the team in points (13), goals (4) and assists (5). In league games only, he recorded three assists and three goals - including the overtime game-winner against Charlotte. Averaging 80+ minutes per game as a striker for the Rams, he was one of just four players to have started in each of Rhode Island's 19 matches this past season.

Perdomo, a central midfielder, transferred to URI for his senior season after a successful playing career at the Community College of Rhode Island. In 17 games for the Rams, he made nine starts while registering a goal and an assist.

Joining Crosby and Perdomo on the NEISL Division I team are: Goalkeeper Zac Simmons (Massachusetts), Defenders Alejandro Melean (Holy Cross), David Tyrie (Central Connecticut), Oscar Castillo (Connecticut), Chris Brown (Massachusetts) and Steve Sawyer (Brown), Midfielders Dori Arod (Connecticut), Yan Kluwkoski (Central Connecticut), Mike DeSantis (Massachusetts), Andreas Andrews (Holy Cross) and Forwards Dyan Sheehan (Brown), Graciano Brito (Quinnipiac), Chris Uy (Fairfield) and Dimitri Anastasiou (Maine).
