Lauren Goley begins her fifth year as an assistant athletic
trainer at RhodeIsland in 2011-12, after spending the previous two
years at URI as graduateassistant athletic trainer. While earning
her master's degree in kinesiology,she worked with the Rhody
women's track & field team and assisted withfootball.
Currently, she works with the men's soccer and women's track &
fieldteams.
A native of North Kingstown, R.I., Goley returned to her home state
in 2005,after earning her bachelor's degree in athletic training
from Keene StateCollege. There, she worked with a variety of
programs, including: women'ssoccer, baseball, field hockey, women's
lacrosse, men's basketball and KeeneHigh School football.
Lauren also served as a Student Delegate for the Eastern Athletic
TrainingAssociation while in graduate school. She has continued her
involvement withthe National Athletic Training Association as the
Membership Representativefor the Rhode Island Athletic
Association.
