HILO, Hawaii - Rhode Island junior Jesse Larson shot a 5-over 76 and is tied for 54th place as the Rams stand tied for 19th as a team at the Hilo Waikoloa Invitational, Wednesday.

Near hurricane-like winds made for tough playng conditions for the entire field, Thursday.

Junior Devon Quigly carded the Rams' low round of the day with a 4-over 75. Larson and senior Ben Spitz finished with 5-over 76s, while freshman Mark Stevens and junior Jason Panone each ended the round with 9-over 80s.
