2006-2007 (Red-shirt Senior): Started the year at the Adams Cup of Newport finishing T3rd shooting 217 (74-71-72)...Shot 148 (69-79) to finsh T2nd at the ECAC Championships...Won the NEIGA Championships at The Captains Course in Brewster by shooting (69-74=143)...At the Sam Hall Invitational shot 213 (68-68-77) to finish T10th...Finished the fall season at the Pacific Invitational by shooting 215 (70-74-71) to finish T16th...Started off the spring season finishing second at the Ron Smith Invitational, shooting 214 (66-78-70)...At the Mission Inn Collegiate Invite shot 226 (77-71-78) to finish T40th...Tied for second at the Furman Invitational by shooting 214 (71-70-73)...Carded rounds of 77 and 75 at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate before withdrawing before the third round.

2005-2006 (Red-shirt Junior): Had second best scoring average for URI with a 75.0...Recorded a low round of 69...His best finish was a tie for 1st at the New England Championship which he eventually won in a playoff...Started the year tying for 5th place at the Adams Cup Of Newport shooting a 225 (75-76-74)...Finished tied for 21st place at the MacDonald Cup shooting a 147 (73-74)...At the NEIGA Championships tied for 13th place shooting a 151 (75-76)...Shot a 161 (87-74) at the Hoya Invitational finishing tied for 58th place...Shot a 221 (72-76-73) at the Hawaii-Hilo Invitational finishing tied for 55th place...Shot a 237 (83-82-72) at the Lexus Invitational finishing tied for 55th place...At the Xavier Orange County Invitational Spitz shot a 216 (72-69-75) finishing tied for 19th place...Shot a 230 (77-75-78) finishing tied for 42nd place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate tournament...Finished tied for sixth place at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate tournament shooting a 147 (75-72)...At the Marshall Invitational Spitz shot a 220 (78-71-71) finishing tied for 16th place...Recorded his best finish by shooting a 141 (72-69) finishing in first place at the New England Championships...Shot (82-75=157) at the URI Northeast Spring Invitational to tie for 10th...Followed that up with a tie for 15th at the Atlantic 10 Championship with rounds of (70-72-74=216)...Ended the year at the NCAA East Regional Championship with rounds of (73-84-75=232) to tie for 103rd.

Was a starter on the 2004 team that finished eighth in the NCAA East Regional and advanced to the NCAA National Championships.

2004-2005 (Red-shirt Sophomore): Second on the team with a 74.6 stroke average ... named first-team All-New England ... named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week once ... has three first-place finishes on the year, including tying for first at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships, before losing on a playoff hole ... finished with a 9-over 225 at the Mean Green Invitational ... tied for seventh with an even-par 144 at the Adams Cup ... Finished 16th at the MacDonald Cup while shooting a 225 ... tied for first after 36 holes of the NEIGA Championship with a 2-over 145, but lost out on medalist honors on the second playoff hole ... finished 32nd at the 49er Collegiate Classic with a 4-over 220 ... tied for 14th at the St. Croix Collegiate Classic after carding a 2-over 218 ... tied for 30th with a 6-over 222 at the Furman Intercollegiate ... tied for 34th with a 16-over 232 at the Forest Oaks Intercollegiate ... finished fourth with a 2-over 146 at the New England Division I Championships ... tied for 13th at the 2005 Atlantic 10 Championship at 5-over par.

2003-2004 (Red-shirt Freshman): Transfered from Texas Christian University after the fall semester to join his brother, then senior David Spitz ... finished third on the team with a 75.1 stroke average ... tied for 59th at the NCAA East Regional with a 13-over 223 (75-71-77), highlighted by a second-round 71 (1-over par) that helped the Rams to a 9-over 289 ... won the New England Division I Championship on the first playoff hole on April 18, earning him both the Atlantic 10 Performer and Rookie of the Week honors ... named to the 2004 PING All-New England Team ... tied for third place at the URI Invitational the following weekend ... tied for 12th place at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a 226 ... was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week three times, including after a 97th place finish in a strong field at the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Classic ... tied for 67th place at the Furman Intercollegiate ... tied for 50th place at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate with a 223.

2002-2003 (Freshman): Red-shirted at Texas Christian University.

Amateur Career: Won the 2006 Massachusetts State Amateur...Qualified to Play in the US Amateur this past year...South Shore League All-Star in all four years at Norwell High ... US Challenge Cup Player of the Year for 2001-2002 ... second-team AJGA All-American in 2002 ... two-time winner of the Massachusetts Junior State Championship.
