Clarke was the No. 1 player for the Rams as a sophomore, but fell out of the lineup as a junior only to break back in late this spring ... shot a 6-over par 76 on the final day of the NCAA East Regional to help the Rams finish eighth and secure their first NCAA National Championship berth since 1967 ... Finished with a 231 (77-76-78) for a tie for 99th ... Tied for 18th place at the Atlantic 10 Championship, shooting a 229 (73-73-79) … Also tied 3rd place at the URI Invitational while firing a 147…Finished 59th place at the Adams Cup of Newport

Earned the National Golf Coaches’ Association Academic All-American Award...Named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team...Best finish was a 7th place finish at the Cardinal Intercollegiate, when he shot a 229...Tied for an 11th place finish at the NEIGA Championship while shooting a 152...Tied for 24th place with teammate Michael Carbone at the Adams Cup and shot a 222...Tied for 47th place in the Gary Koch Invitational while firing a season-low 148 (75-73).

2001-2002:
An Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection along with member of the Academic All-Conference team...Took 5th place at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships while firing a 215 (Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team)... Also finished 9th at the NEIGA Championship after shooting a 148...Placed t-18th at the Wolf Pack Classic while firing a 217. Carded a 56-hole score of 219 at the Adams Cup with a final round score of par-71 to finish tied for 23rd in his first collegiate event.
