KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island football team (1-7; 0-5 CAA) travels North on Saturday to take on No. 8/7 New Hampshire (7-1; 4-1 CAA). Kickoff is set for Noon at Cowell Stadium. The game can be seen on Comcast Sports Network.

Rhody enters Saturday's contest in the hopes of rebounding from its 39-14 loss at home against William and Mary.

In that game, junior quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne led the way offensively as he threw for a game-high 195 yards through the air, completing passes to six different receivers. He also tossed a pair of touchdowns, which tied a season-high.

In seven appearances this season, quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne has thrown for 993 yards. Three of his receivers have caught 15 passes for 200 yards-or-more. Rhode Island is one of just six teams in the CAA, which has three receivers, who have at least 15 receptions and 200 yards receiving in 2009.

Defensively, URI forced William and Mary into one fumble. This season, Rhody has forced its opponents into 16 fumbles. The 16 fumbles forced by the defensive unit ranks as the second highest mark for a single season in school history.

The URI school record for forced fumbles in a single season is 22, which was set back in 1995. This season, Rhody is averaging two forced fumbles per game (2.14).

Individually, junior linebackers Matt Hansen and Rob Damon combined for 27 tackles (16 - Hanson; 11 - Damon) against William and Mary. Hansen's 16 tackles were a career-high.

This week, Rhody takes on a New Hampshire squad, which features the CAA's second-best scoring offense (32.4) and the fourth-best scoring defense (16.1).

As always, Steve McDonald and Terry Lynch will handle the play-by-play on the Rams Radio Network (WHJJ 920 AM).
