Trainer Announces 2011 Football Team Captains

KINGSTON, R.I. -- Head coach Joe Trainer announced his six team captains for the 2011 season, set to begin tomorrow afternoon at Syracuse.

Offensive linemen Kyle Bogumil and Jason Foster, defensive back Darrell Dulany, quarterback Steve Probst, and defensive tackles Matt Rae and Willie McGinnis will meet at the 50-yard line for the coin flip prior to kickoff tomorrow, set for 4:30 p.m.

"These six senior captains represent the best leadership we have had since I have been here and I am confident this group will effectively lead this team in 2011," Trainer said. "I couldn't be happier with our entire senior class and what they bring to this team."

Rhody/Syracuse can be seen live locally on Cox Sports Television and will be cleared through New York state on Time Warner Sports and in the tri-state area on SNY as part of the Big East Network.
