KINGSTON, R.I. -- The entire University of Rhode Island football team participated in the Fifth Annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day at Goddard Memorial State Park in Warwick on April 29.

The Walk, sponsored by The Autism Project of Rhode Island, had over 3,500 participants and is one of the football team's annual community service activities.

"Our entire team took part in the Walk, which helps to support research in finding a cure for Autism." said head coach Tim Stowers. "It is a very important cause and I'm proud of our team's involvement. Each of our student-athletes had a great time and are looking forward to participating next year."

The Autism Walk capped off the Rams' successful Spring Football season. Just one day earlier, on April 28, URI took part in its annual Spring Blue-White Scrimmage game.
