2009 Rhode Island Football Schedule Get Acrobat Reader

KINGSTON, R.I. - The Rhode Island football team has announced its game times for all home and most road contests this upcoming season.

The Rams will open the year at home against Fordham at 1 p.m. and then hit the road for three straight weeks against Massachusetts (Sept. 19, 3:30 p.m.), Connecticut (Sept. 26, Noon) and Brown (Oct. 3, 12:30 p.m.).

Rhody then returns to Meade Stadium for three of the next four weeks to take on Towson (Oct. 10, 1 p.m.), Hofstra (Oct. 17, Noon) and William and Mary (Oct. 31, 1 p.m.).

The Rams will play two of their final three games on the road as they head to New Hampshire (Nov. 7, Noon) and Maine (Nov. 14, Noon) before closing out the year at home versus Northeastern (Nov. 21, 12:30 p.m.).

Fans will also have the opportunity to watch the Rams on television in a pair of conference road games against Massachusetts and New Hampshire on Comcast SportsNet and Comcast Network, respectively.

The 2009 Rhode Island football team returns 19 starters in the form of eight on offense, nine on defense and two on special teams.
