POSTGAME NOTES

-Saturday's game against Northeastern marked the 57th time the two teams have met. Rhode Island currently holds a 29-26-2 series advantage.

-Senior wide receiver Shawn Leonard finished with a game-high 163 yards.

-Leonard finished his final season at URI with 858 yards receiving, which ranks seventh in the all-time single season record book.

-Leonard became the 10th receiver in school history to post 800 yards or more in a single season. The Massachusetts native finished the year with 858 yards during his senior season.

-Leonard surpassed 100 yards receiving (163) for the third straight week. In his last five games, Leonard has caught 28 passes for 610 yards and nine touchdowns.

-Junior quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne threw touchdown passes of 28, 55 and 31 yards, respectively. In 2009, Paul-Etienne threw 14 touchdown passes eight of those passes have gone for 25 yards or more.

-Junior linebacker Matt Hansen posted a game-high 12 tackles. Hansen's double-digit performance marked the 12 time in his career in which he has posted 10-or-more stops.

-Sophomore running back Ryan Lawrence rushed for a career-high 67 yards.

-Junior safety Jarrod Williams collected his third interception of the

-Junior linebacker Rob Damon recorded 10 tackles. In 2009, Damon recorded 10-or-more tackles in eight games. Damon finished the year with 124 stops, which led the team.

-Prior to the game, the honored 21 seniors, which played their final game at Meade Stadium.
