Murphy, Kennedy to Appear on Jim Fleming Coaches Show

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Jim Fleming Coaches Show returns to the Mews Tavern in Wakefield Wednesday night at 6 p.m. Normally a Thursday night broadcast, the show will air Wednesday due to the men's basketball exhibition game at the Ryan Center Thursday.

Junior left tackle Kyle Murphy and offensive line coach Keegan Kennedy will appear as guests on the show. Murphy has started every game this season at left tackle, and he has made 21 straight starts overall, the second longest active streak on the team. His blocking is a key reason Rhode Island is averaging 130.4 rushing yards per game, the team's highest per game average since 2013. With 12 rushing touchdowns, the Rams already have their most scores on the ground since 2011 (15).

Host Steve McDonald will open the show live with Jim Fleming on News Radio 920 AM or via the iHeart Radio app, and segments with Murphy and Kennedy will follow. In addition to the hour-long show, News Radio 920 AM personnel will be on hand with giveaways for fans.
