Annual Blue-White Game to be Played in Meade Saturday, April 29

KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island's annual Blue-White Game will be held Saturday, April 29 in Meade Stadium, marking the conclusion of Spring Camp for the football team.

The contest – which features the Rhody offense against the defense in full-speed game conditions – begins at 10 a.m. Admission is free and a modified scoring system will be used to make the game competitive for both sides.

Following the game, fans are invited to the Fifth Quarter Club cookout. The cost is $7 and food options include drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks. Proceeds from the cookout will benefit the football program.

Sack/Tackle For Loss - 2 points

The 2017 season opens at Central Michigan on Thursday, Aug. 31. Rhode Island's first home game is Saturday, Sept. 9 against Stony Brook in the CAA Football opener for both teams.
