Individual, Season and Mini-Plan Men's Basketball Tickets Now on Sale

KINGSTON, R.I. -- Individual tickets for the 2009-10 URI men's basketball season are now on sale, through the URI Athletics Ticket Office located in the Thomas M. Ryan Center.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets can visit the URI box office during regular business hours - Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. If you cannot make it to the box office, tickets to URI men's basketball games can be purchased on ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000.

Season ticket and mini-plan packages are also available through the URI box office.

If you are interested in purchasing season tickets, please download and complete the 2009-10 season ticket order form and mail or fax it to the URI Athletics Ticket box office at (401) 788-3051.

There are also two great Mini Plans being offered: the Game of the Month and Weekend Plans.

The Game of the Month plan offers five great games - Stony Brook (Nov. 24), Providence (Dec. 5), Saint Joseph's (Jan. 13), Richmond (Feb. 10), and Charlotte (March 3).

The Weekend Plan features six contests - Holy Cross (Nov. 22), Providence (Dec. 5), Fairfield (Dec. 20), Temple (Jan. 10), George Washington (Jan. 30), and Fordham (Feb. 20).

Rhody plays two preseason exhibition games - Nov. 6 vs. Concordia (Que.) and Nov. 10 vs. Rhode Island College - before playing its 2009-10 home opener versus Holy Cross on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. All home men's basketball games are played at the Thomas M. Ryan Center, on the URI campus.

Tickets for the Jan. 2 game versus Oklahoma State at the Mohegan Sun Arena are also on sale. Tickets for that game can also be purchased through the URI Athletics ticket office, as well as at the Mohegan Sun Arena or ticketmaster.com.
