Bitee Solid in Portsmouth Invitational Tournament Play

PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- Parfait Bitee finished up play at the 2008 Portsmouth Invitational, averaging 8.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists - including a 3.00:1 assist-to-turnover ratio - in 28.3 minutes of action in three games.

The senior guard played for the Cherry, Bekaert & Holland squad, and opened up play with a six point/two rebound performance on April 10.

In his next outing on April 11, Bitee earned the start and tallied 10 points, six assists and a steal in 27 minutes of action. He closed out Portsmouth Invitational play with a a 10 point/three assist/two rebound stat line in 38 minutes of play on April 12.

Bitee was among 62 of the nation's top seniors - and one of nine players from the Atlantic 10 Conference - to compete in the three-day showcase for seniors. The P.I.T. is the nation's oldest amateur basketball tournament.
