Dates Set for URI Baseball Walk-On Try-Outs

Try-outs to be held Sept. 3; Mandatory meeting set for Sept. 2

The University of Rhode Island baseball team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Wednesday, Sept. 3. There will be a mandatory meeting for those interested in trying out on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 4:30 p.m., in Keaney room 209.

Those interested in trying out for the team must have the following:
1. A copy of entrance physical exam from your own physician
2. Athlete Tryout Waiver
3. HIPPA Form
4. Insurance Form and copy of insurance card front and back

To download the necessary paperwork: log onto www.GoRhody.com, go to Inside Athletics and follow the Sports Medicine link, click on student athletes, fill out all paperwork for freshman and transfers and for Tryouts/Walk ons. All of this paperwork must be submitted at the Sept. 2nd meeting in order to try out.
