Field Set for 2007 Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship

The fifth-seeded Rams will open play against fourth-seeded Xavier, Wednesday at noon.

The 2007 Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship begins on Wednesday, May 23, with fifth-seeded Rhode Island taking on fourth-seeded Xavier at 12:00 p.m., followed by third-seeded Richmond and sixth-seeded St. Bonaventure meeting at 3:30 p.m.  The losers of the two contests will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in an elimination game.  

 

On Thursday, top-seeded Charlotte takes on the XU/URI winner at 12:00 p.m., followed by No. 2 Fordham facing the UR/SBU winner at 3:30 p.m. 

 

All games will be played at Fifth Third Field in Dayton, Ohio - home of the Cincinnati Reds' Single-A affiliate Dayton Dragons. Single-game tickets start as low as $7 for adults and $3 for students, senior citizens and children under 18, while four-day packages are $20 for adults and $10 for students, senior citizens and children under 18. Game times are 12:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 23-25 and 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (if necessary) on May 26.
