Started nine of 15 appearances... Threw 61.1 innings for a 4.11 ERA and a 4-3 record... Struck out 41 and allowed 20 walks... had five games with five or more strikeouts: Feb. 18 at McNeese State (4.0 IP, 5 SO), March 4 vs. Northeastern (6.0 IP, 7 SO), March 25 at Charlotte (5.2 IP, 5 SO), April 2 at La Salle (5.2 IP, 6 SO) and April 15 vs. Saint Joseph's (7.0 IP, 5 SO)... On May 6 vs. Massachusetts, threw 3.2 innings for a shutout.
2010:
Appeared in one game - a two-inning start - at Mississippi State (Feb. 20) before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
2009:
Made 14 appearances - five out of the bullpen and nine starts - as a sophomore pitcher for the Rams... Ended the season with a 6-2 record to go along with a 5.87 ERA and 32 strikeouts over 53.2 innings pitched... Earned his first win of the season pitching five innings in a 12-6 win over Fairfield on March 2... Gave up one run over 4.1 innings while striking out five batters in a no decision appearance against No. 11 Oklahoma State on March 15... Tossed three innings of relief and earned the win against George Washington on March 20... Pitched two hitless innings of relief against Xavier on March 28 to pick up his third win... Was credited with the win after going seven innings with three strikeouts against Quinnipiac on April 14... Struck out eight batters in five innings of work to pick up his fifth win against Sacred Heart on April 21... Pitched seven scoreless innings and stuck out four to collect his sixth win on the year against Northeastern on May 12.
2008:
Made 15 appearances and eight starts as a freshman... Finished with a 5-2 record and a 4.07 ERA... Struck out 41 batters over 55.1 innings and recorded a team-best four pickoffs... Earned the start and struck out three in five innings in his collegiate debut at Troy on Feb 23... Notched his first career win at Radford on March 17... Pitched eight innings of no-hit ball while striking out nine batters - before giving up a leadoff single in the top of the ninth inning - to earn his second win of the season against Marist on March 26... Received the Atlantic 10 Pitcher and Rookie of the Week awards on March 31... Picked up his third win of the season, striking out four batters in as many innings at Brown on April 2... Struck out four batters in four innings to earn his third victory against Brown on April 2... Played baseball and basketball alongside teammates Kyle Borden and Tom Coulombe at Lincoln High School... Captained the baseball team his senior year... Was an All-State selection in 2006 and 2007... Was the Northern Division MVP as a junior and earned Most Outstanding Player honors his session season.
