Started 40 games in 46 appearances... Finished the season with a .291 batting average in 134 at-bats... Recorded 39 hits, 24 RBI and 19 runs... Named Atlantic-10 Player of the Week on May 9... Homered twice: April 23 at Richmond and May 8 vs. Massachusetts... Was a four-year letter-winner in baseball and two-year member of the varsity football team at Cherokee High School... Helped lead baseball team to back-to-back conference titles in 2006 and 2007... Earned First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-Group IV honors as a senior... Played in the Carpenter Cup in 2007...
