Appeared in 15 games... Finished the season with a 3.83 ERA and 7-4 record after pitching 89.1 innings... Named to Baseball America's Preseason All-Conference Team... On March 19 vs. Southern Mississippi he threw 7.0 innings for three strikeouts, allowing just four hits, two runs and one walk... Struck out 12 on April 16 vs. Saint Joseph's... Made 15 appearances - 13 of which were starts - as a junior... Ended the season with a 6-3 record to go along with a 4.86 ERA and 46 strikeouts over 79.2 innings pitched... Tossed 21.2 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run over four Atlantic 10 starts against No. 27 Charlotte (April 10), Massachusetts (April 17) and Xavier (April 24)... Struck out five batters in his season debut at Mississippi State on Feb. 20... Made his first start of the season at No. 1 Virginia on Feb. 27... Gave up three runs over six innings to earn the win at UNC Wilmington on March 21... Picked up another W in his next appearance - at Temple on March 27... Allowed just three hits over seven scoreless innings with four strikeouts against No. 27 Charlotte (April 10)... Improved to 4-2 after striking out five batters and going 8.2 innings without an earned run against Massachusetts on April 17... 2009
Made 19 appearances - 12 out of the bullpen and seven starts - as a sophomore pitcher for the Rams... Ended the season with a 6-2 record to go along with a 5.01 ERA and 39 strikeouts over 55.2 innings pitched... Picked up his first victory of the season pitching 1.1 innings in a 4-3 win over Fairfield on March 5... Pitched two scoreless innings against Bryant on March 25... Tossed 1.1 perfect innings of relief against Xavier on March 27... Went five innings with four strikeouts in a no decision against Central Connecticut on March 31... Gave up just one run over seven innings and struck out eight batters to pick up his third win of the year on April 15 against Hartford... Threw six and a third innings and gave up seven hits, but only one earned run for the win against Connecticut on April 22... Picked up his fourth win in as many starts, going six innings and striking out four against Holy Cross on April 28... Pitched two scoreless innings against Massachusetts on May 8 to pick up his sixth win of the season.

2008
Made 12 relief appearances and one start as a freshman... Struck out 25 batters over 26.0 innings... Struck out three batters in 2.0 innings in his collegiate debut at Troy on Feb. 23... Recorded three K's at East Carolina on March 16... Struck out three batters in as many innings at Brown on April 2... Pitched 1.2 innings and struck out two batters against Boston College on April 8... Struck out five in five innings of work against Siena on April 10... Fanned six batters in three innings against Northeastern on May 13.

High School:
Was an honor roll student and four-year member of the baseball and soccer teams at Woodland Regional High School... Also played basketball at WRHS... Captained the baseball and soccer teams his junior and senior seasons... Helped lead baseball team to the league championship in 2007... Pitched two perfect games - one in high school and one in Legion ball... Posted a .455 career batting average to go along with a 25-10 pitching record and a 1.55 ERA over 240 innings with just 35 walks... Was a three-time team MVP and All-Conference player... Earned All-State, All-Hartford Courant and All-New Haven Register honors as a junior and senior... Also earned the league's top senior award in 2007.
