Mizzou (4-4) did all of its scoring in the third, fourth and fifth innings. Connor Broomfield and Kameron Misner each delivered an RBI single in the third before a Tony Ortiz sac-bunt plated Chris Cornelius in the fourth. Luke Mann and Chad McDaniel capped off the scoring in the bottom of the fifth, each belting a two-run homer.
Rhody (2-4) stranded two runners in the second, third and seventh innings, and left the bases loaded in the sixth.
