Bradstreet Named CSM's Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island senior Mike Bradstreet has been recognized by College Sports Madness as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for games played through March 17. It marks the second time this season that he is recognized by CSM as he also earned Player of the Week honors on March 4.

Bradstreet tossed his second consecutive complete-game shutout in Rhode Island's series opener at Winthrop on Friday night, striking out six batters and walking none in a 4-0 win over the Eagles.

The Lansdale, Pa. native - who threw 77 of his 99 pitches for strikes - has not issued a walk in his last 20.2 innings pitched. Additionally, he has now thrown 23 consecutive scoreless innings over his last three appearances - the second best career total at URI.

Rhode Island (6-11) returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when it hosts Stony Brook at 3:30 p.m.
