PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Rhode Island baseball team posted an 11-2 victory over Sacred Heart, Saturday afternoon at the Palm Beach Challenge. Junior Ty Muller led the way with three hits while classmate Greg Annarummo drove in a team-best three runs. Muller and Annarummo also scored two runs apiece.

Down 2-0 in the top of the sixth, senior Kyle Borden evened the score with a two-run shot that also plated redshirt junior Jeff Cammans. Muller then ripped a two-run triple, scoring senior Tom Coulombe and Annarummo, before redshirt sophomore Pat Fortunato homered to put Rhody in front 6-2.

The Rams added three more in the seventh - two of which came on a two-out single by junior Milan Adams - and tacked on another pair in the eighth, thanks to a two-run single by Annarummo.

Borden, Annarummo and Muller all finished with multiple hits, runs and RBI on the afternoon to pace the Rams' offense - which strung together a season best 15 hits. Sacred Heart, meanwhile, managed just eight hits while striking out seven times and drawing zero walks.
