Baseball Game Against Connecticut Cancelled

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Rhode Island baseball game against Connecticut on Tuesday, April 1st was stopped in the top of the second inning due to snowy conditions. No date for a make-up has yet been scheduled.

The Rams were ahead 2-0 when the game was stopped. Rhode Island took an early lead after a two-run single from sophomore Matt Sullivan while sophomore Mike Lefort pitched a scoreless first inning for the Rams.

Rhode Island will return to action on Wednesday, April 2nd when they travel to Harvard for a matchup with the Crimson at 3:00 p.m.
