Thomas McMahon joined the Rhode Island staff in September of 2017. He currently serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the women's basketball and tennis teams.
McMahon came to Rhode Island after spending the summer of 2017 with the Holy Cross football team as a strength and conditioning intern, as well as a strength and conditioning coach for hockey at the Athletic Perfomance Enhancement Center.
Prior to that, McMahon worked as a strength and conditioning intern for the UMass men's and women's basketball team as an undergrad (Sept. 2016 through May 2017), while working with various olympic sports as well.
McMahon earned his bachelors degree in kinesiology at UMass Amherst in May of 2017.
