ROBERT F. SHEA '46, an all-time basketball great for Rhode Island State College and a key performer and co-captain of the famed 1946 National Invitation Tournament team, played in the NBA after starring for three years on the fast-breaking teams of his era. He has been a loyal supporter of the University and its athletic programs since graduation, and was a long-time administrator in the Stonington, Conn., school system.
