Lauren started dancing at Atwood Performing Arts Center at the age of two, where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. She has competed since the age of seven and has won numerous category and judges awards. She taught dance classes to elementary students in 2005. At Cranston High School East Lauren was a part of the Emerald Encore, flag and dance team for four years. She is extremely happy to be a Ramette to not only do what she loves - dance - but also to be a spirited part of URI. The team will enable Lauren to express the pride she has for the University and be around people that express the same interests. In her spare time Lauren enjoys being with friends and family, traveling, and laughing. She is majoring in Biology here at URI.
