Nicole Poloski

Nicole Poloski began working with the University of Rhode Island Academic Support Team in 2005.
In her role at URI, Poloski is responsible for academic advising men's soccer, baseball and women's basketball teams throughout the year. She coordinates all of the athletic department tutoring and study hall services. She also assists in class selection, time management, study skills/ techniques, monitors academic progress, and gives recommendations for tutoring or other academic based services.
A 2001 graduate of Providence College, Poloski earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and was a member of the Friar field hockey team under her maiden name of Nicole LaBranche. Upon her undergraduate graduation, Poloski went on to receive her Masters of Education in Counseling from Providence College in 2002.
A native of Cumberland, R.I., Poloski graduated from Cumberland High where she had a standout field hockey career.
Nicole currently resides in Cumberland with her husband, John and their son, Dylan.
