Kristen Abbott enters her second year at Rhode Island in 2009-10. Abbott works with the Rams' baseball and women's soccer programs. A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Abbott earned her B.S. in Athletic Training in 2007. While at SRU, she earned valuable experience working as a student athletic trainer in the high school, collegiate and clinical settings. Abbott went on to obtain her M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Rehabilitation Sciences from California University of Pennsylvania in December of 2008. While pursuing her graduate degree, she earned her NASM Corrective Exercise Specialization and worked at Clarion University as a graduate assistant with women's soccer, baseball and both basketball teams. updated: 9/14/09 |
