Cox Ball Kids Program
Ball kids are an integral part of every home men's and women's
basketball game and URI Athletics has partnered up with Cox to
provide opportunities for local kids to enjoy this experience. Ball
kids are responsible for shagging loose balls before, during and
after games, helping with some equipment and keeping the game
flowing.
For their participation, every kid will recieve a special URI/Cox t-shirt and will sit beside the baskets during the game. Two (2) tickets will be provided to each ball kid for their parents/guardians. In addition to the general responsibilies, all ball kids must meet the following requirements:

1. You must be between the ages of 7 and 13 years old (not yet
in 9th grade) at the start of the season.
2. You must be able to listen to and follow verbal directions
give my supervisors.
3. You must be able to pay attention to all on-court action
throughout the duration of the event.
4. You must arrive one (1) hour before the start of the game
and arrive on time.
5. You must be able to work effectively with others and have
the ability to work as a team.
