Mackal Field House, which opened in 1991, features a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track, including eight lanes on the straightaways, a gymnastics' competition and training area, a weight and fitness center and four basketball courts. The facility annually hosts the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The track and basketball courts were refurbished in December 2002, giving the Rams a state-of-the-art track.

Mackal Field House also houses the administrative offices for the athletic department.
